the location is fantastic, right next to a temple and close to all the other attractions in the city. the hostel is also very clean and hygienic, with proper air conditioning and beautiful aesthetics. the dorm rooms felt like a boutique hotel, with comfortable beds that have curtains, a mirror, and a shelf for your belongings. the breakfast included was a nice touch, and the WiFi worked perfectly throughout the rooms and common area. I loved this place so much that I even came back for an additional stay after my trip to Chiang Rai. Khunluang will definitely be my go-to hostel for my next visit to this city!

Fantastic location next to a temple, Thai massage by prisoners, 3 kings, Lanna Folk museum. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Modern, clean, and hygienic environment. Proper air conditioning. Beautiful aesthetic. Breakfast included.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The beds were comfortable with curtains, a mirror, and a shelf for our stuff. The bathroom was modern and clean with multiple showers and toilets. The reception area was a nice place to hang out with good WiFi and games. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, providing us with information and great conversation. The location was amazing, right in the middle of the old town with walking distance to many temples and the Sunday market right outside the door. There were also plenty of restaurants nearby.

I chose Khunluang Hostel for its convenient location near the popular points of interest in Chiang Mai. I wanted to visit the stunning Chedi Luang Temple, which was just a short walk away. The hostel pleasantly surprised me with its laundry facilities, making it easy for me to freshen up my clothes after a day of exploring. I also appreciated the free tea bags and instant coffee provided, adding a touch of convenience to my stay.

Best location: the hostel is situated in the heart of the city, close to all the major tourist attractions. We were able to easily explore the temples, museums, and other sights without having to travel far.

This made it difficult to socialize and meet new people.

The rooms at Khunluang Hostel were cozy and comfortable, with a seating area where I could relax after a long day of exploring. The shared bathrooms were clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a shower and a hairdryer. Plus, some units even offered a fantastic city view, which made my stay even more enjoyable. As a business traveler, I appreciated the air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TVs, providing a comfortable environment to unwind in the evenings.

In my opinion, one drawback was that the bathrooms only had showers with rainfall showerheads. While this may be a preference for some, I personally enjoy having the option of taking a bath.

Great location in the Old City, close to Three Kings Monument and Sunday Night Market. Clean and modern hostel with friendly staff. Good breakfast and fast wifi. Comfortable beds with privacy curtains.

The location of the hostel is excellent, with easy access to the Sunday night market and other attractions in the area. the rooms and bathrooms are clean, and the air conditioning provided in the dorms offers great comfort for a good night's sleep. the cafe in the hostel serves delicious coffee and there is a store nearby that offers tasty juices and smoothies.

The check-in process could have been improved, as some guests had to wait for staff to be available at reception upon arrival.

The location is right in the middle of the old town, making it easy to explore important sights and markets by a short walk.
